I thought I had my life all figured out. I had a plan and everything. Instead, life threw me a curve ball and now I am left wondering where I go from here. I'll practice my swing. Improve. Get my mind, body, soul, spirit, and wallet in shape. When I do that, watch out world.

This is how Andy got his groove back...

It should be noted that I do a lot of reblogging. Unless otherwise noted, I did not create these images.

Eddie Murphy, Bowfinger, 1999The last funny Eddie Murphy money deserves some recognition, doesn’t it? While we’re not sure how he was able to pull deep enough within himself to play a paranoid, deranged movie star, the academy should have given him a Best Supporting Actor nom for his work in Steve Martin and Frank Oz’s witty parody about the movie business, which is notable for being one of the few “inside Hollywood” movies that is actually funny instead of toxically myopic. Though it’s sad that Murphy apparently absorbed none of Bowfinger’s messages about vanity destroying talent, Murphy tears into Kit Ramsey’s paranoid delusions about aliens and the KKK with a gusto that still serves as a reminder of what this man is capable of when he actually gives a shit.

fucking love this whole movie

This movie is so underrated

I feel bad that I left this movie off of my top movie countdown. I hated it in theaters, but, after watching it again on night on video, I found it to be just delightful. Silly, yes, but sometimes that’s what you need. I could watch this one all the time.
